To set up the BraillePen 12 as a keyboard and display for Window-Eyes:

- Then press Tab to jump to the list of ports and choose the COM port you assigned when pairing your BraillePen.
- Tab to Activate button and push the space bar to activate it. The BraillePen will beep confirming the connection.
- A dialog prompting you to confirm the changes will pop up.

Upgrading Window-Eyes
BraillePen 12 and BraillePen 12 Touch
Window-Eyes supports the cursor routing available in the BraillePen12 Touch. If your Window-Eyes does not have a new BP12 or BP12 Touch driver and braille.ini integrated into its file system, you need to do the following simple steps.
- Download WE4BP12T.zip file here and save it locally on your computer.
- Exit Window-Eyes.
- Unzip the content and copy webrloem104.dll to your Window-Eyes folder where wineyes.exe resides, for example C:\Program Files (x86)\GW Micro\Window-Eyes. When you are asked to replace the existing file, choose Copy and Replace.
- Open US-Braille folder and copy braille.ini file.
- Go to …\AppData\Roaming\GW Micro\Window-Eyes\users\
default and replace the default braille.ini file.
